Natural disasters occur due to the over exploitation of natural resources which causes the imbalance in Natural resources such as water, forests, environment etc The ways in which we can reduce the consumption of various natural resources and control natural disasters are as follows:

(i) We should stop the cutting of trees (deforestation).

(ii) We should use recycled paper to reduce the cutting down of trees.

(iii) We should not waste water.

Vulnerability reduction measures can be taken in our region against natural disaster by following steps:

• creating massive awareness by spreading/ conducting Drills
• By developing a well integrated communication system
