Advantage of soap:
Soaps are made from natural fats and oils and so are fully biodegradable, it does not cause any water pollution.
Disadvantage of soap:
Soaps cannot be used in hard water. This is because, soap forms scum in hard water and this scum will not rinse away easily. So soap is suitable only for soft water.
