1.CFC are organic compound, contains carbon, chlorine and fluorine which destroys ozone layer.They produced as a volatile derivative of methane, ethane, and propane.
2.They were commonly used in refrigerator, air conditioners etc. Due to its contribution in ozone depletion, they were banned and replaced with other products.
