Follicles are found in thyroid gland. They selectively absorb iodine from the blood and produce thyroid hormone. They synthesize T3 and T4 hormone.

Thyroid gland is made up of stromal tissue. It is a connective tissue and provide supports to the lobes of thyroid gland.
