What are heterodont and thecodont teeth ?

Humans have two sets of teeth throughout their life – temporary set of teeth or milk teeth and permanent set of teeth (32 teeth). This condition is called diphyodont.
When all teeth are not similar then the condition is called heterodont.Each half of human jaw have four types of teeth: 2 Incisors, 1 canines, 2 premolars and 3 molars.
