Open in App
Solution

Super cool Liquid: The liquid which is cooled below its freezing point without being converted into solid state are called super cooled liquid.

These liquid have the minimum temperature to be in liquid state and after crossing this even by some points the liquid is converted again into solid. So, this state is a very sharp state of temperature. These liquids could crystallize in presence of a nucleus but due to lack of any such nuclei, the liquid phase is maintained down to the temperature at which crystallization occurs.

For ex: Water can also be super cooled liquid.

Its standard freezing point is 273.15 K but it can be super cooled at 224.8 K
