Sustentacular cells are means for structural support in the body of an organism. It is distributed in different body parts depending upon nature of support. One common type of sustentacular cell is present in testis of an organism and called as sertoli cells which nourishes the sperm. Other types are located in nose area in olfactory epithelium, taste buds etc.
