Canaliculi are small tiny tubular canals or passages that branch out from haversian system in bone and links the lacunae with one another and with the haversian canal which allow the transport of nutrients and waste.
The canaliculi provide passageways by which nutrients can reach the osteocytes and waste products can leave them.
