what are the functions of 70s ribosomes and 80s ribosomes?
The 70 S ribosomes are found is prokaryotes and 80 S ribosomes are found in eukaryotes. Both types of ribosomes are the workbenches for translation. They link the amino acids present in t-RNA according to the sequence of m-RNA. The smaller subunit of ribosomes read the sequence of m-RNA while larger subunit connects the amino acids in the form of a polypeptide chain.
