Basically the glands present in our body are of two types
1. Exocrine glands: Exocrine glands secrete mucus, saliva, digestive enzymes etc. which are released through ducts or tubes.
2. Endocrine glands: The endocrine glands secrete hormones directly into the fluid bathing the gland, they donot have ducts.
The various endocrine glands of our body are hypothalamus, pituitary, thymus, thyroid, pineal, parathyroid, pancreas, adrenal, ovary (in females) and testes (in males).
