What are the postulates of kinetic theory of gases?
as answered previously...
Postulates of Kinetic theory of gas are
1. All gases are composed of very small particles called molecules.
2. Molecules are always in a constant random motion.
3. There are no forces between the molecules.
4. Collisions between the molecules and the walls of the container are perfectly elastic.
5. The volume occupied by the molecules are negligible compared to the volume of the container.
6. Gravitational force has no effect on the molecules.
7. Molecules are assumed to obey Newton’s laws of motion.
8. Pressure experienced by walls of the container of the gases are due to the constant striking of molecules with the walls.
