Highly reactive metal sodium (Na) which even reacts with air can be stored in kerosene.
It remain insoluble in kerosene. Similarly, potassium (K) is stored in kerosene only. They both reacts violently with water.
White phosphorous (P4) is stored in waterā€‹ as it is soluble in kerosene.
Compound 3-bromopropyne is usually stored in toluene.
If Hydrogen fluoride (HF) is stored in glass then it should be coated with wax because it reacts with glass. It does not reacts with wax, plastic and ceramic bottle.
