Solution

1) A wide wrap of territory came under the control of Napoleon and introduced many reforms in order to make the whole administrative system more rational and efficient
2) The Civil Code of 1904 commonly known as Napoleonic Code did away with all privileges based on birth, established equality before law and secured the right to property
3) This Code spread to regions under French control. Moreover, in Dutch republic, in Switzerland etc., Napoleon simplified administrative divisions, abolished feudal system, and freed peasants from serfdom and manorial dues.
4) In the towns too, guild restrictions were removed and transport and communication system improved.
5) Peasants, artisans, workers, and businessmen enjoyed new found freedom and they felt that uniform laws, standardized weights and measures, and common national currency would facilitate the movement and exchange of goods and capital from one region to another.
