The Dashing and wedging is used, in ​stereo chemistry to draw a three dimensional (3D) structure of the molecules in which the bond in plane of paper is denoted by a solid line, and the bond farther from the viewer is denoted by dashed lines and the bonds which face the viewer is denoted by wedged line.
