What do you mean by , 'Medium of Heat'?

There are three mode or medium of heat transfer. i.e. (1) Conduction (2) Convention (3) Radiation
Conduction takes place in solid and stationary fluid medium.

Convention takes place between a surface and a moving fluid.

Radiation requires no intervening medium because in this mode heat is transfer in the form of electromagnetic waves.
