Paris Commune 1792:

The Paris Commune was the government of Paris during the French Revolution from 1789 until 1795. It was established just after the storming of Bastille in Hotel de Ville, the Commune became a part of the Revolution in the summer of 1792, and basically refused to take orders from the central French government.

Paris Commune 1871:

The Paris Commune was elected as the city council in 1871, and it eventually proclaimed its own authority to govern all of France. It was a socialistic government which was later suppressed and overthrown due to its controversial rule and opposition to the elected French Government.
