A Cyclone is a violent swirling (rotating) mass of air (similar to a whirlpool that if formed on water) which is typically formed in tropical regions and accompanied by very high speed winds. A typical cyclone can move with speeds up to 100 km/hr. Cyclone can either spin in an anticlockwise direction or clockwise direction depending upon whether its in northern or southern hemisphere respectively.
