what does nucleus ,vacuoles and cell membrane mean?
Nucleus is the organelle present in the cytoplasm of the cell that contains genetic material packed as chromosomes. It is the control centre of the cell.
Vacuoles are membrane-bound structures, which are believed to store substances of cells . In plant cells, vacuoles are large in size, while in animal cells vacuoles are small.
Cell membrane is also called plasma membrane. It is the outermost covering in animal cells. However, in plant cells and in certain unicellular organisms,it is present below cell wall. It is semi- permeable membrane and regulate the flow of substances in and out of the cell.
