In isogamous form of sexual reproduction the male and female gametes are of similar sizes or shapes.

In anisogamous form of sexual reproduction the male and female gametes are of different shapes or sizes.

In oogamous form of reproduction, the female gamete is significantly larger than the male gamete.

Zygospore is formed after sexual reproduction when two different hyphae mate with each other in fungi and in some algae/protists.
