What exactly is the meaning of radioactive sugar and dynamic equilibrium?
Radio active sugar – The sugar molecule which constitutes radioactive isotopes of carbon, oxygen or hydrogen is called radioactive sugar.
Dynamic equilibrium – The equilibrium in a closed system at which the macroscopic properties are constant at given temperature, pressure and initial amounts of the substance whereas microscopic processes continue but these are in balance. In other words, although the forward and backward reactions are occurring but the rate of both the reactions is same and thus no change in the results is observed.Thererfore, a chemical equilibrium reached in a reversible reaction is dynamic.
