Question

what happen to the buoyant force as more & more volume of a solid object is immersedin a liquid when does the buoyant force become maximum

Open in App
Solution

Buoyant force = weight of the displaced liquid

If an object is fully immersed into the water then buoyant force on the object will be maximum.

Then

Buoyant force = volume of object * density of liquid * acceleration due to gravity.
