Coronary artery ensure the continuos supply of blood to the heart muscles by forming a pathway known as coronary circulation. It is a pathway of blood through arteries from the aorta arising from the heart and returning to the right atrium. Thus, any internal clot in the coronary artery can lead to blockage which results in heart attack.
