Question

What happens to the weight of the body when the coefficient of friction is doubled?

Open in App
Solution

The change in coefficient of friction means change in smoothness or roughness of a surface. Weight of a body depends on mass and acceleration due to gravity, which are constant for a particular place. So there will be no change in the weight by increasing coefficient of friction.
