what happens when cold milk is poured into the hot tea?

Cold milk is at lower temperature as compared to higher temperature of hot tea. When cold milk is added to hot tea, it gains heat while tea loses heat. So, the final mixture of the two has temperature which is in between the cold milk and hot tea.
