Solution

1.ray of light is a beam of light coming from a light source.

2.Diffraction of light occurs when a wave encounters an obstacle. Diffraction of light is the phenomenon of bending of light around the corners of an obstacle or aperture in the path of light. On account of this bending, light penetrates into geometrical shadow of the obstacle. Light thus deviates from its linear path.

3.Radius of curvature=2×focal length
