Biopesticides are those biological agents that are used for control of weeds, insects and pathogens.
There are three types of biopesticides- microbial pesticides (such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, etc), biochemical pesticides (such as insect sex pheromones) and plant incorporated protectants (such as GM crops).
