Solution

A brain tumor is a mass formed by the aggregation of abnormally growing cells found in brain. The tumors contain abnormal cells which divide uncontrollably and do not die. So, they keep on dividing and accumulate together to form a mass of cells.

The exact causes of brain tumors are not known. Some of the common risk factors are:

1) Genetic conditions and family history

2) Exposure to radiation

3) Previous cancers

4) Use of carcinogenic cosmetics and hair products.
