Bundle of his consists of specialised heart muscle fibres that have the ability to transfer electrical signal through them to control the heart beat. It arises from AV node located between atrium and ventricle. It further branches into right and left bundles running along the interventricular septum.
Purkinje fibers are thin fiber branches that extend from the atrioventricular bundle of the human heart. Purkinje fibres relay cardiac impulses to the ventricular cells causing the ventricles to contract. These are located in the inner walls of ventricle arising from right and left bundles running along the interventricular septum.
