Buoyancy is an upward force acting on the body immersed in a fluid is called buoyant force. when a body is partially or wholly immerged in fluid, it displaces the fluid. the displaced fluid has a tendency to regain its original position. due to this upward force is exerted on the body, is called buoyant force.

the factors on which buoyant force is depend are as follows:

i) Weight of the object

ii) density of object.

iii) volume of displaced fluid
