CCK stands for cholecystokinin which is a hormone secreted by the mucosa of the duodenum and its target organs are pancreas where it increases secretion of pancreatic juice rich in enzymes, gall bladder where it stimulates its contraction to release bile and it also prevents emptying of stomach.
