what is deuterostomous mouth?
Deuterostomes, is a Greek word which means "second mouth". It is a superphylum of animal kingdom. Also, known as enterocoelomates, as they have true body cavity. They are characterized by their embryonic development. The first opening become the anus and the deuterostome mouth develop at the opposite end of the embryo. Mouth that develops distinctly from the blastopore. They include echinoderms, hemichordates and chordates.
