Solution

Algae are very large and diverse group of simple, typically autotrophic organisms, ranging from unicellular to multicellular forms. They are photosynthetic like plants, and their tissues are not organized into the many distinct organs like land plants.

Fungi are the heterotrophic multicellular organisms. Fungi are neither plants nor animals but have some characters of both. They are classified on the basis of their reproductive structures called spores and filaments called hyphae.
