What is ignition temperature? And how can it catch fire in the lowest temperature?
Ignition temperature is basically the lowest temperature at which a substance catches fire. So, in order for a substance to catch fire, its temperature should either be equal to or more than its ignition temperature.
One of the qualities of a good fuel is that it should burn easily in air at a moderate rate. The lower is the ignition temperature, the more easily it will catch fire and start burning. Therefore it is said that a good fuel should have a low ignition temperature.
