Infrared radiation is a type of electromagnetic wave of frequency 3 X 10¹¹ Hz to 4 X 10¹⁴Hz. Sometimes they are called heat waves. These waves are produced by hot bodies and molecules.
Uses :-
1. For producing dehydrated fruits.
2 . For taking photographs during the conditions of fog, smoke etc.
