Question

what is luminous intensity? and thermodyamic temperature?

Open in App
Solution

Luminous intensity is a measure of the amount of light that is emitted in unit time per unit solid angle. Technically, it is the measure of wavelength weighted power emitted by a light source in a particular direction per unit solid angle. The measurement is based on a standardized model of the sensitivity of the human eye. Its SI unit is candela.

Thermodynamic temperature is the temperature as measured in the absolute scale. The thermodynamic scale gives the measure of the fundamental property underlying temperature
