Lymph contains interstitial fluid mainly consisting of platelets, WBCs. Lymph is a fluid that bathes are tissue and forms a part of lymphatic system which transports food materials, carbon-dioxide, metabolites from the body cells to blood and then finally pours it into the venous system.
