Solution

Hi,
Ozonosphere is the general stratum of the upper atmosphere in which there is an appreciable ozone concentration and in which ozone plays an important part in the radiative balance of the atmosphere. It is also called ozone layer, a layer in the stratosphere (at approximately 20 miles) that contains a concentration of ozone sufficient to block most ultraviolet radiation from the sun.
The instrument used to measure ozone in atmosphere is ozonesonde. The most popular unit is the Dobson Unit, which gives an idea of the total amount of ozone above a given area of Earth's surface.
