Quantum nature of charge means the magnitude of charge on a body must be an integral multiple of the quanta of charge.

Quanta of charge is the smallest possible charge in the nature that is equal to the charge on an electron.

The magnitude of the minimum charge a body possible in nature is 1.6 × 10^-19 C. Charge of any other magnitude will always be an integral (1, 2, 3, 4, …..) multiple of the charge on the electron.
