When primary culture is allowed to sub-cultured that is fresh nutrients and space is provided to the growing cells in culture is known as the secondary cell culture. It involves washing the plate, removing growth media etc.
Cell line is a group of genetically identical cells derived from a single cell. They are immortal in nature. They may be formed by sub-culturing the primary cultures.
