what is the brain capacity of present day human? does this brain capacity change from offsprings to old people?
Cranial capacity is a measure of the volume of the interior of the cranium or braincase. The most commonly used unit of measure is the cubic centimetre or cc. The brain capacity of present day human Homo sapiens sapiens is 1450-1600cc. There is no evidence of change in cranial capacity of the humans from birth to old age. However some diseases like cerebral atrophy, Alzheimer's disease are known to damage a part of brain or some neurons but do not effect the cranial capacity.
