Loamy soil with abundant organic matter is good for flax plants. Soil should be moist but not too wet, so flax plants do not require heavy watering. It needs fertilisers and pesticide. Flax are prone to fungal diseases so use of fungicides are needed. Flax plants also require pruning to promote air circulation and growth.
