Diff bytw pesticide n insecticide

Pesticides are a group of chemicals that inactivate or kill unwanted various organisms in crop fields, storage house or any potential area where they may cause harm.
They may act against a weed,herb,mite,rat,tick,insect,fungus,etc.
Each pesticide is specific to its target organism. For eg: if a pesticide is inactivating a fungus then it will be known as a Fungicide.
Similarly pesticide against insects are called insecticide.
Hence, an insecticide is a small group of chemicals classified under pesticides which are specifically active against insects ( 6 legged animals )
