Question

what is the difference between celsius and fahrenheit?

Open in App
Solution

On the Celsius scale, the freezing point of water is 0° whereas the freezing point on the Fahrenheit scale is 32°.

And, the boiling point of water on Celsius scale is 100° whereas it is 212° on Fahrenheit scale.

Numerically,

(°C × 9/5) + 32 = °F

Or

(°F - 32) x 5/9 = °C
