The commercial crops are grown on large scale. They are grown on very small scale.
The crops grown in commercial farming are called cash crops.The main motive is to sell in the market and earn profits. The main motive of subsistence farming is to meet the requirement of food for the farmer's family.
The cash crops generally includes vegetables, cotton, tobacco, tea, coffee etc. The crops grown in subsistence farming includes food grains like Bajara, wheat,rice,Jowar etc.
It requires large capita, modern technology and farm implements land and labours. It includes less capital, traditional methods are generally employed for farming and family members do the agriculture work.
They are mainly practised in developed countries. They are mainly practised in underdeveloped and developing countries.
