What is the difference between Computer And Calculator ? (computers in accounting)

There is a lot of difference between computer and calculator. A calculator can only be used for mathematical calculations but computer can perform substantial computations. Computer can be used for accounting purposes. There are many application software which are installed in the computers to perform the accounting function. Accounting software are Tally,Busy and Fact etc. Accounting can not be performed in the calculator.Thus calculator is used only for the mathematical calculations and computers have a very large scope.
