What is the difference between conservation of renewable and non-renewable resources?

For conservation of renewable resources such as water, soil, air we should keep in mind that the renewable resource does not get polluted or lose their composition.
For conservation of non-renewable resources such as oil, petroleum,minerals, metals we should find replacement for them, reuse them as frequently as possible and recycle them.
Wastage of both renewable and non-renewable resources should be avoided.
