Solution

The difference between fold mountain, block mountain and residual mountain is as follows :
Fold Mountains Block Mountains Residual Mountains
These mountains are formed when two plates collide with each other and wave like formation occurs in the tectonic plates. These Mountains are formed due to movement across faults in the Earth's crust, it happens when rocks on one side of a fault rise relative to the other. These mountains are formed when weathering and erosion for a long time lowers downs the height of an existing mountain.
