FRANCHISE CHAIN STORE
A franchise is a business operated under license from another business. Many of the fast food business such as McDonalds, Burger king etc. A chain store is a type of business where one owner will open multiple locations of the same store.
Corporate office relinquishes much of its controls by selling “franchise license” at a set price. All employees work for the corporate office, prices and stock are set by corporate, employment, and HR policies are set by corporate.
