Malpighian tubules are the excretory organs of the members belonging to the phylum Arthropoda, i.e insects, millipedes, centipedes, insects and arachnids. Each tubule is lined by glandular and ciliated cells that absorb solutes, water, and wastes from the surrounding hemolymph. The absorbed nitrogenous waste product is converted into uric acid which is excreted out through the hindgut.
Antennary or green glands are the excretory organs of members belonging to class Crustacea e.g. prawn. They are present near the base of the large antennae and open out by renal aperture.
