  1. Rent is usually paid on a monthly basis.
Revenue can be paid periodically (annually or half yearly) or non-periodically (after the concerned sale / purchase).
  1. This kind of payment is made in return for the use of land, a building, an apartment, an office, or other property.
Revenue is usually in form of a tax generated by the government due to sale / purchase of goods or assets.
